What waste factor should I use?
The default is 5%, which suits simple rectangles. Curves, borders or diagonal patterns often need 10% or more.
Should I use the nominal or actual paver size?
Use the size on the product label. Joints are not added, so tight-fit pavers give the best match.
Does it include base and sand?
No, it counts pavers only. The patio planner adds base gravel, sand and edging for you.
When should I hire a pro?
Consider one for driveways, slopes, drainage problems or complex patterns that need a lot of cutting.
